First: The Bible tells us that Satan, his fallen angels and his demons, false prophets and false "Christians" will be working full tilt during these times. Second: There are a few misunderstood scriptures that are important to get a correct understanding of, in order to correctly utilize the scriptures that God has given us concerning the End Times and the 2nd coming of Christ .
1. We are suppose to be interested and concerned about the End Times and the time of Jesus' promised return. A large percentage of both the Old Testament and the New Testament is prophetic concerning the "end times", "end of the age", "2nd coming of Jesus" etc. The book of Revelation is all about the this time.
This is what Revelation 1: 1-3 says - 1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
2. No one knows the "day" or the "hour" of the return of Jesus BUT the Bible states that we are suppose to know the season. The Bible is full of the signs we are suppose to look for that indicate that the Lord's return is soon !.
The Coming of the Lord
13 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep [died] in him . 15 According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Final Instructions

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age? ” . . . 30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
3. We are suppose to judge those within the church or those who claim for themselves the name "Christian" .
Judging Others
1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Expel the Immoral Brother!
1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you . . 9 I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother [in the Lord] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.

Sprinkled throughout the Bible are specific scriptures that give us signs to look for that tell us that the promised return of Jesus is near.
Many people refer to this time as the "End Times" or the "Second Coming" . End Times is actually a misnomer for God does not ever intend for life on this planet to end. Some say " End of the Age" is a better phrase to use.
Actually, Jesus is returning twice. Once to temporarily take his bride, the church, out of the world to be kept safe from all the end time judgements described in Revelation, if you believe in the pre-tribulation rapture at the beginning of the 7 year period, OR to be kept safe from the worst of the judgements (the 7 bowls of wrath) , if you believe that the rapture will take place in the middle of the tribulation period (after the first 3 1/2 years) . The second time, Jesus will return with His bride (that's his believers) to set up his kingdom on the earth.
Revelation explains that Jesus will then reign for 1,000 years on the earth and during this time Satan will be bound. However, after this time, Satan will be set free for an unspecified period of time. Satan will then organize one last attack against Jesus and his believers after which Satan will finally be thrown into the lake of burning sulfur and the final white throne judgement will takes place. [Revelation 20]
At this point the old heaven and earth are destroyed by fire and the new heaven and earth are created and everything is made new. Now the the believers will live with BOTH Jesus AND God on a beautifully restored earth. Praise God! [Revelation 21-22]

3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
2.There would be Godlessness in the End Times
Godlessness in the Last Days
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Knowledge for many years was growing very slowly, but now is growing exponentially. This includes new scientific knowledge as well the dispensation of knowledge by computer, so that knowledge is now available to vast numbers of people. According to Norman Edmund, Founder of the Edmund Scientific Company, with computers and the Internet, the accessibility of information and knowledge is doubling probably every year and will double every 73 days by the year 2020.
For thousands of years until as recent as 150 years ago, the fastest mode of transportation was on the back of a horse or about 25 mph maximum. Now mankind has traveled over 25,000 mph on the way to the moon. What a difference!
The growth of knowledge would accelerate at the end of time (fulfilling prophecy). A well known prophecy in Daniel pertaining to the end of time is being fulfilled in our time!
4. Israel would be Raised Up as a Nation in a Single Day

“Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be? 2 Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?”

Isaiah prophecied that Israel would become a nation again and that it would happen in one day!

In Isaiah 66:7-8, the prophet foreshadowed the re-birth of Israel, which happened "in one day." The woman giving birth before going into labor represents Israel. This accurately describes what happened on May 14, 1948 - when the Jews declared independence for Israel as a united and sovereign nation for the first time in 2,900 years.
During that same day, the United States issued a statement recognizing Israel's sovereignty. And, only hours beforehand, a United Nations mandate expired, ending British control of the land. During a 24-hour span of time, foreign control of the land of Israel had formally ceased, and Israel had declared its independence, and its independence was acknowledged by other nations. Modern Israel was literally was born in a single day.
Isaiah said the birth would take place before there would be labor pains. And that too is precisely what happened. A movement called Zionism began in the 1800s to encourage Jews worldwide to move to Israel, which at that time was called Palestine. Within hours of the declaration of independence in 1948, Israel was attacked by the surrounding countries of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
When reading Isaiah 66:7-8, keep in mind that Israel's status as a sovereign nation was established and reaffirmed during the course of a single day, and that it was born of a movement called Zionism, and that its declaration of independence was not the result of a war but rather the cause of one.

A Remarkable Mathematical Prophecy!
The Prophecy ... (Ezekiel 4:4-6)
"Then God said to Ezekiel, 'Now lie on your left side for 390 days to show Israel will be punished for 390 years by captivity and doom. Each day you lie there represents a year of punishment ahead for Israel. Afterwards, turn over and lay on your right side for 40 days, to signify the years of Judah's punishment. Each day will represent one year . . .'"
A Mathematical Bible Prophecy . . .
Although a little obscure (and sophisticated) this is one of the most fascinating prophecies found in the Bible.
Here, we find God telling Ezekiel that each day he (Ezekiel) lies on his side will represent one year of punishment for the nation Israel (Israel + Judah) because of their iniquities (sins) against God . . .
So, we have:
390 days Judgment against the 10 northern tribes 'Israel'
+ 40 days Judgment against the 2 southern tribes 'Judah'
=430 years Judgment against the nation of Israel
The Fulfillment of the Prophetic Judgment Begins . . .
In 606 B.C. Israel (Judah) was taken into captivity by Babylon for exactly 70 years ...
430 years of judgment determined against nation Israel
- 70 years fulfilled during the captivity in Babylon
= 360 years remaining in judgment against the nation of Israel
The Mystery of 360 Years . . .
There should have been a total of 360 years left in judgment against Israel after their release from Babylonian captivity by the Persian general Cyrus, exactly 70 years after the Babylonian captivity began (just as the prophet Jeremiah had prophesied before the captivity) ... but where was the remaining 360 year judgment in Israel's history??!!
The '7X' Factor of God's Judgment . . .
Bible scholars could not find any specific captivity or dispersion that fulfilled these 360 years left in the judgment until a close look in the book of Leviticus revealed a startling prophetic warning ...
"And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I (God) will punish you seven times more for your sins." (Leviticus 26:18)
"Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I (God) will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins." (Leviticus 26:21)

The Bible uses 360 day years for prophecies and expects us to add the appropriate 'leap months' on schedule. So, the easiest way to unravel this prophecy is to first convert this prophecy into days ...

Now, convert the 907,200 days found in this prophecy into our 365.25 day solar years (the .25 adjusts for leap years) . . .

With this information, let's look at this remarkable prophecy again . . .

- 70 Years for 70 years of captivity in Babylon

Israel Back in Her Land as a Nation . . . in 1948!
Judah (Israel) was taken into captivity by the Babylonians in 606 B.C. They were released from captivity 70 years later by the Persians in 536 A.D. , exactly as the prophet Jeremiah had prophesied, but their land was still under the control of the Persians. The Persians were later conquered by the Greeks, and the land of Israel remained under Greek control. The Greeks were then conquered by Rome and the land of Israel remained under Roman control. After failed rebellions against Rome around 70 A.D. and another around 100 years later, the Romans removed the Jews from the land of Israel, dispersed them around the world, and renamed the land 'Palestine' after the enemies of Israel. Then, after 2,500 years, for the first time since the Babylonian captivity in 606 B.C., the world watched as Israel once again appeared on the world map as a sovereign nation, on May 14, 1948 ... exactly when the Bible said it would!
"Thus says the Lord God: 'Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land." (Ezekiel 37:21) ('nations' (plural)...this is not their return from Babylon)

[What Jesus is saying here is that if you physically have to go somewhere to see a "Messiah", he is false because when Jesus comes everyone, everywhere, will see him in the sky at the same time. God Is Doing a New Thing in His Church

. . . . This brings us to the church of the present day. Let me ask you: is what you see going on in the church today representative of who Jesus is? Consider all the denominations and movements, everything associated with Christ's name. Is what we're seeing truly the church triumphant, the spotless bride of Christ? Does it reveal to a lost world the very nature of God? Is this the best that God's Spirit can produce in these last days?
Or, has the modern-day visible church become the old thing? Has it become defiled, teetering on the very brink of being replaced by some new work? In short, will God make a change one last time before Jesus returns? Will he abandon what has become corrupt, and raise up a final, glorious church?
Yes, I believe he will. Isaiah tells us, "Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them" (Isaiah 42:9).
The church today started with a glory no other generation had seen. The church as we know it today began with repentance. When Peter preached the Cross at Pentecost, thousands came to Christ. This new church was made up of one body, consisting of all races, filled with love for one another. Its corporate life was marked by evangelism, a spirit of sacrifice, even martyrdom.
This wonderful beginning reflects God's words to Jeremiah: "I planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed" (Jeremiah 2:21). Yet the Lord's next words describe what often happens to such works: "How then are thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?" (2:21). God was saying, "I planted you right. You were mine, bearing my name and nature. But now you've turned degenerate."
What caused this degeneration in the church? It always has been, and will continue to be, idolatry. God is speaking of idolatry when he says to Jeremiah, "My people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit" (2:11). Idolatry desolated Shiloh, it desolated the temple, and it has defiled the church of today. It is always the root cause behind God leaving an old thing to begin a new one.
In Ezekiel 14, certain elders came to the prophet to inquire of the Lord. They wanted to know, "What is God saying to his people today?" But the Lord told Ezekiel, "These men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?" (Ezekiel 14:3). He was saying, in other words: "They've come here as if they're truly seeking me. But they're hiding wicked idols in their hearts. Why should I answer them?"
Most Christian teaching today identifies an idol as anything that comes between God's people and himself. It's that which draws us away from him. Yet that's only a partial description of idolatry. After all, the elders who approached Ezekiel weren't kept away by their idols.
Idolatry has to do with a much deeper heart issue. The truth is, idolatry can run rampant in God's house but remain totally unseen. That's what the Lord meant when he said these elders had a "stumbling block of their iniquity before their face" (Ezekiel 14:3). The stumbling block is any doctrine that justifies an idol. And it blinds God's people to their sin.
That's exactly what has happened in the church today. The number-one idol among God's people isn't adultery, pornography or alcohol. It's a much more powerful lust. What is this idol? It's a driving ambition for success. And it even has a doctrine to justify it.
The idolatry of being successful describes many in God's house today. These people are upright, morally clean, full of good works. But they've set up an idol of ambition in their hearts, and they can't be shaken from it.
Tragically, this was the same driving spirit behind Baal and Molech: to prosper and be successful. And today this spirit has polluted the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. It presents itself as a spirit of blessing, [Satan masquerades as an angel of light] but it's a perversion of the blessing that God intends for his church. And it's shipwrecking the faith of millions.
This spirit also smacks of postmodernism. One of the tenets of postmodernism is that the community bestows on you your purpose and worth. Simply put, your success and acceptance are measured by the world's standards. As a result, many Christians measure their self-worth by their career, their possessions, their paycheck.
Now postmodern theology is creeping into the church's leadership. Pastors and evangelists are buying the lie that their peers determine how successful they are. This is why success in church work has come to mean having massive attendance, large buildings and a fat budget. And it's why ministers are compelled to drive themselves and their congregations to achieve these things.
I tell you, this isn't the church that Jesus Christ is coming back to take as his bride. This postmodern, materialistic, flesh-driven institution has grown old and corrupt. And it's in the throes of death even now.
Many young pastors all over the world sense this. They're fed up with the old thing, with its bickering and denominational infighting. They want nothing to do with it. They've rejected the drive for bigness and notoriety. Instead, they're turning back to the centrality of Christ, back to seeking God, back to hungering for truth. And they sense a fresh new work in the air.
What is the new thing that God is doing in his church?
"Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them" (Isaiah 42:9).
God is about to do a new thing. And this new work will be so glorious, it's going to cause his people to praise him like never before: "Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof" (42:10). God is telling us, "Let all my people worldwide sing my praises. Let me hear a new song from the sailors at sea, from people in every nation, from all the lands of the earth."
We know that in these last days, Satan is coming down to earth in a fierce rage (see Revelation 12:12). He's full of great wrath because he knows his time is short. And he's going to send forth a flood of iniquity on the church. But God declares, "Let my people know the Lion of Judah is coming down, with all the power of heaven. The Redeemer is coming to Zion! "
Don't think for a minute that God will allow Satan to take control of his church and ravage his children. The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ's body. And I believe the Lord is on his way to Zion right now to visit his people.
Just as he did with Sodom, the Lord is coming to purge. And this time of purging will begin with his church. Right now, the Lord is beginning to burn up the chaff in his house. And he's going to do a new thing. Scripture tells us, "The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies" (Isaiah 42:13).
Why is Jesus coming with such a mighty roar? And what will he be crying? He's going to cry out in jealousy over his people. You see, our Lord is in a jealous state over his church right now. And here is his jealous cry: "I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once" (42:14).
What does this mean? Why would Jesus cry like a woman in travail? The Lord is telling us he's about to give birth to something new. While Satan is on the rampage, deceiving multitudes, God is telling his people, "A new, holy thing is being birthed under Satan's nose. This is one church he can't deceive. It is the prevailing church that's without spot or wrinkle."
Up to now, the Lord has been silent. He has restrained his anger while false doctrines, false prophets, and wolves in sheep's clothing have shipwrecked multitudes in Christ's body. But now God is letting his voice be known. He's telling us:
"Shepherds have turned my house into a den of iniquity. Yet I have held my peace. Materialistic preachers have corrupted my church all over the world with abominable doctrines. Yet I have kept still. I've been silent while mega-churches have removed the offense of the Cross from their congregations. I've restrained myself as complacent shepherds have allowed comedians and entertainers to bring lightness and frivolity into my holy house.
"But no more! Now I'm stirred up. And I'm coming down to my house, to clean it up before I return for my bride. Be warned, I am coming to you with a holy jealousy. And I'm going to destroy all these false doctrines. I will bankrupt every robber and thief who has filled my pulpits. I'll dry up all their sources and cause their rivers of money to run dry."
"I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.... They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods" (Isaiah 42:15, 17).
Beloved, this is the new thing God is doing in his church. He's saying, "I will destroy and devour every ministry that's of flesh, hype and materialism. And I'm going to raise up shepherds after my own heart, faithful servants who know me. I will destroy all false gospels, and confuse and put to shame every false teacher.
"Yet I won't forsake those millions of sincere people who were deluded by false doctrines. They didn't know better. And now they're going to hear my pure gospel. When they do, they'll repent and be ashamed of the shallow, frivolous gospel that led them astray. I'm going to lead them into truth."
"I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them" (42:16).
What an incredible promise. We see now why Isaiah prophesies, "Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice...let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands" (42:11-12).
Dear saint, God is doing a new thing right now. He's calling his people once again to forsake every idol and make their habitation the Rock, Jesus Christ. I urge you, be ready to obey his cry: "Let the inhabitants of the Rock sing!"

Criticism:
Hugh O'Shaughnessy in The Guardian has reported that Prof. Michel Schooyans of the Catholic University of Leuven and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences has "accused Blair and his wife of supporting a messianic US plan for world domination."[8] The criticism's focus is that the Foundation's approach amounts to reducing the religions to the same, predetermined common denominator. This means "stripping them of their identity" . Schooyans arguing that "(t) his project threatens to set us back to an age in which political power was ascribed the mission of promoting a religious confession, or of changing it. In the case of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, this is also a matter of promoting one and only one religious confession, which a universal, global political power would impose on the entire world."[8]
The director of the Muslim charity Forward Thinking, Huda Jawad has been reported by the BBC as raising doubts about levels of support from many Muslims for the Foundation given Blair's foreign policy record.[9]

On 2 April 2009, skeptic and secularist Richard Dawkins mocked the Foundation in a spoof letter, published in the New Statesman. In it, he ridiculed the idea that faith is not a divisive force, and attacked religion's record on promoting dialogue and equality.[10]

Criticism:
Hugh O'Shaughnessy in The Guardian has reported that Prof. Michel Schooyans of the Catholic University of Leuven and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences has "accused Blair and his wife of supporting a messianic US plan for world domination."[8] The criticism's focus is that the Foundation's approach amounts to reducing the religions to the same, predetermined common denominator. This means "stripping them of their identity" . Schooyans arguing that "(t) his project threatens to set us back to an age in which political power was ascribed the mission of promoting a religious confession, or of changing it. In the case of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, this is also a matter of promoting one and only one religious confession, which a universal, global political power would impose on the entire world."[8]
The director of the Muslim charity Forward Thinking, Huda Jawad has been reported by the BBC as raising doubts about levels of support from many Muslims for the Foundation given Blair's foreign policy record.[9]

On 2 April 2009, skeptic and secularist Richard Dawkins mocked the Foundation in a spoof letter, published in the New Statesman. In it, he ridiculed the idea that faith is not a divisive force, and attacked religion's record on promoting dialogue and equality.[10]

One Like a Son of Man
9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”
12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man [Jesus],”[Daniel 7:13-14] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. 16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
20 The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.
Remember the book of Revelation was written almost 2,000 years ago. No one at that time would believe that a force of that size was possible. And, until recently, there was no country that was able to raise a military force of this size - But today China, alone, would be very able to raise a force of 200 million . Currently Chinese troops number 2,285,000 active, 1,500,000 paramilitary and 800,000 reserve for a total of 4,585,000. The Bible talks about the "Kings of the East" ( plural ) having 200 million troops. So if China united with North Korea and/or India etc. a force of 200 million could very easily be formed.

10. People will have to take some sort of identifying mark placed on, or in, the forehead or the right hand - must have this to buy or sell.
16 It (the beast out of the earth) also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Alarming NOAA data, Rapid Pole Shift

The NOAA National Geophysical Data Center maintains a data set of annual magnetic north pole coordinates going back to the year 1590, derived from early measurements from ships logs to modern day techniques.
Noting that there has been lots of reporting of pole shift lately, to the point where the phenomenon is actually causing real-world issues such as temporary airport closures, a deeper investigation was in order.
After transferring 420 years of north pole position data from the NOAA Geo Data Center, configuring it to fit in an Excel spreadsheet, adding a complicated formula to determine exact distance between 2 sets of latitude-longitude coordinates, applying the formula to each data point in the series, and then finally plotting it all in a visual graph, it is alarming to discover the amount of magnetic pole shift – just over the past 10 to 20 years.
Here is one very interesting fact…
Since 1860, the magnetic pole shift has more than doubled every 50 years. That is pretty significant. In geological terms, that seems to be pretty ‘rapid’.
Here is another very interesting fact…
During the past 150 years, the pole shift has been in the same direction.
The following fact is even more astonishing…
During the past 10 years, the magnetic north pole has shifted nearly half of the total distance of the past 50 years! In other words, the pole shift has apparently sped up substantially.
The present rate of magnetic north pole shift is about 55 kilometers per year. According to the data set, during the year 2000 the magnetic north pole actually shifted more than 70 kilometers.
The issue now is, since the pole shift has been at 400 year record high rates during the past 10 to 20 years, the cumulative effect is now beginning to cause real-world issues.
Will the effects affect us noticeably or in a bad way? Time will tell I suppose, but at the current rate there will no doubt be direct effects on many systems in the years ahead, many of them nuisance issues such as documentation changes while others will likely be more serious.
It is not known if the shift will speed up or slow down in the years ahead. Some say that a pole reversal (pole shift) is overdue, and this phenomenon (the magnetic pole shift ) may be an indicator of the beginnings of that process.
Note: that the earth’s magnetic field is what protects us from radiation from outer space. Without it, we would not survive. Could a pole reversal cause a period of time in-between flip-flop such that we would be exposed to deadly radiation? .

Signs of the End of the Age
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. . . .
19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! . . .21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. 22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
Democracy has 'INCREASED the number of wars through taxes and cheaper weapons'

The number of wars have steadily increased for more than a century fed by economic prosperity and a growing number of borders, researchers claim.
Analysts at the University of Warwick found that the numbers of wars between states increased steadily from 1870 to 2001 by two per cent a year on average.
At the turn of the last century there were just six per year between 1870 and 1913. But that rose to 17 per year in the period of the two World Wars, 31 per year in the Cold War era, and 36 per year in the 1990s.
Researchers blamed the growing number of borders, cheaper weapons and the spread of democracy through the world.
They found that even though the world has supposedly become more democratic, that has actually increased a nation's ability to wage war and allowed taxes to be used to buy weapons.
Professor Mark Harrison from the University of Warwick said that another of the factors driving wars were conflicts between pairs of countries.
Professor Harrison said: 'This is not reassuring. It shows that there is a close connection between wars and the creation of states and new borders.
'Besides, no matter how you divide it, we have only one planet. Our planet has already seen two world wars. As that experience suggests, you can never be quite sure what little conflicts will not suddenly snowball into much wider, more deadly struggles.'
The researchers said that most people [wrongly] believed that living in modern democracies brought peace and stability.
The trend also dispels previously-held beliefs by thinkers of the Enlightenment who suggested that peace would prevail as countries became richer, more democratic, and more interdependent.
But Professor Harrison said that the one of the key drivers behind war has been the number of countries, which has risen dramatically – from 47 in 1870 to 187 in 2001.
With economic growth, war has also become cheaper to wage, meaning even developing countries can afford the cost of committing aggression.
