Revelation 12: 7-12, 13: 1-8, 11-18

7 And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.” . . .
Revelation 13
1 And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.
The Beast out of the Sea
And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. 4 Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?”
5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. 6 He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beastall whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world[Jesus] . . .

The Beast out of the Earth
11 Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. 14 Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.

Tony Blair Calls for World Church

NEW YORK — Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Friday that leaders in an interdependent world must work to end religious conflict or face “catastrophe” as he introduced a new foundation dedicated to interfaith understanding.

Religion is as important in this century as political ideology was in the last, Blair said. The Tony Blair Faith Foundation will fight extremism, organize faith groups against poverty and illness, and educate people worldwide about religions other than their own, he said.

“There is a new reality. We have to come to terms with it. And it implies, at its fundamentals, peaceful coexistence or catastrophe,” said Blair in a speech before religious and business leaders at the posh Time Warner Center. “If faith becomes a countervailing force, pulling people apart, then it becomes destructive and indeed dangerous.”

Former President Bill Clinton, who became a close friend of Blair’s when both men were in office, opened the event, putting his arm around the former prime minister and calling his faith “genuine” and “deep.” ( Bill Clinton is now a judge of character?)

The group’s advisory council includes evangelical megapastor Rick Warren,( interesting guess we know whose side he is on) who with his wife, Kay, advocates for HIV/AIDS victims worldwide; Ismail Khudr Al-Shatti, an adviser to the prime minister of Kuwait; and world Baptist and Jewish leaders. Catholic Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor of Westminster, England, has pledged to join the council when the pope allows him to retire.

Yale University is a partner in the project. The former prime minister plans to teach at the school next year, leading a seminar on faith and globalization.
In a brief interview, Blair said he defined extremists as “people who want to exclude the other if someone is of a different faith.“( so in Tony’s world anyone that beleives Jesus is the only way to God is an extremist) Blair told the crowd that although Islamic extremism draws the most attention, “there are elements of extremism in every major faith.”
“It is important where people of good faith combat such extremism, that they are supported,” said Blair, who is an envoy for the Quartet of Mideast peacemakers — the U.S., European Union, Russia and United Nations.
Among the foundation’s many initiatives are promoting research on religion and globalization; ( ooooh so it is to not only promote a one world religion but a one world government- thanks for clearing that up for us) developing interactive media and publications on religion geared for young people, businesses and political groups; and, working with the U.N. and groups such as the Malaria No More Campaign to fight the illness.
Blair said the foundation would not focus on “doctrinal inquiry” ( no for heaven’s sake lets not worry about DOCTRINE) or “subsume different faiths in some universal faith of the lowest common denominator.”
Sayyid Syeed, a national leader of the Islamic Society of North America and a veteran of interfaith outreach, said it is possible to find common ground without watering down religious teachings if the work is based on sound scholarship about each faith.
It has been done in the past and can be done again,” Syeed said.
( notice the doublespeak in the last three paragraphs)
Richard C. Levin, Yale’s president, who shared the stage with Blair and two young American Muslim leaders, said the community service programs that will be part of the foundation’s work will build a bond among young people, despite any theological differences.
“You cannot understand the modern world,” Blair said, “unless you understand the importance of religious faith.”

The bottom line is this. We are moving towards a one world government that will be ruled by the antichrist. We are moving towards a one world Harlot church. The Bible confirms that both of these will occur in the last days.

The Blair faith project: Former leaders Tony Blair and Bill Clinton join forces to promote the Faith Foundation, which uses religion to bridge divides.
BY Claudia Parsons | Jun 03, 2008

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, joined by his old friend Bill Clinton, launched his Faith Foundation on Friday with a call for more idealism and less religious extremism.

Taking a break from the presidential campaign of his wife, Hillary Clinton, the former US president described Blair as "a good man as well as a great leader" and said the Faith Foundation would build on Clinton's own foundation's work in using religion to bridge divides.

"His own religious faith is genuine, deep and shapes his life," Clinton said of Blair, who converted to Catholicism in December after stepping down as prime minister last June.

Blair, whose faith was often viewed with suspicion by the British media, said he was inspired to create the Faith Foundation by the Clinton Global Initiative, which works on issues of poverty, climate change, health and education.

Blair, who is an international envoy for Palestinian economic development, said increasing globalisation requires peaceful coexistence and cooperation.

"We must be global citizens as well as citizens of our country," he told an audience of academics, media, and business and religious leaders. "Idealism becomes the new realism."

Blair cited a Gallup Poll showing the percentage of people in most Muslim countries who said religion was an important part of their lives is in the high 80s or 90s; in the United States around 70 per cent, and in Europe under 40 per cent.

"You cannot understand the modern world unless you understand the importance of religious faith," Blair said.

Among the foundation's goals will be to counter extremism, which he said was present in all the six leading faiths - Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh and Jewish.

"Though there is much focus, understandably, on extremism associated with the perversion of the proper faith of Islam, there are elements of extremism in every major faith," Blair said. The foundation will work with Yale University, where Blair will lead a course on "faith and globalisation."

The foundation also will partner with a group called Malaria No More which aims to prevent the 1 million annual deaths from malaria within 10 years - a goal Blair said was achievable by using bed-nets and medicines.

Malaria No More encourages mosques, churches and other religious institutions help distribute those items.

Blair swept to power in Britain on a wave of optimism in 1997, but by the time he stepped down, his popularity was dented by his support for the Iraq war.

Clinton's final years in office overlapped with Blair's first term and both said they had developed a close friendship since then.

Rick Warren, Dr. Oz, and the Dangers of the Daniel Plan

She describes herself as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ who is committed to protecting and defending the Christian faith. Greatly inspired by 1 Peter 3:15, her entering the "blogosphere" was born out of her family's personal experience of leaving a church due to false teaching.

Ingrid opens this edition of Crosstalk describing what we've seen up until recently from Rick Warren and the Purpose Driven Movement. With the help of his Purpose Driven books, Warren has convinced many Christians to initiate radical changes to the church ranging from thematic preaching and rock music to a more corporate style of church leadership.

Warren's latest project is a 52 week health and fitness program known as "The Daniel Plan" . But one must wonder what Pastor Warren is up to when in promoting the plan, he relies on individuals such as Daniel Amen, Mark Hyman and Mehmet Oz  [Dr. Oz' wife is a Reiki master who connects with and allows spirit guides to work through her].

Why should these men cause "red flags" to come up for Christians? Jennifer attended the Daniel Plan kick-off gathering on January 15. From her notes she shares how from Kundalini Yoga to Transcendental Meditation, these men are steeped in Eastern mysticism and the occult. In addition, through it all, numerous U.N. buzz-phrases could be heard; phrases such as "sustainable living", :smart growth", "public-private partnerships" and more.

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

Jesus the Way to the Father

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
